DataHighway 485 using 1784-PCMK

Supported Windows versions: Windows Vista / Windows XP / 2000

Use these setting when using the Allen-Bradley 1784-PCMK PCMCIA card to communicate Data Highway 485 to SLC 500 and MicroLogix 1000/1200/1500 controllers.

·      Enabled = CHECKED

·      Device Type = 1784-PCMK

·      Enter the Base Address
1784 PCMK Vista / Win XP / 2000 Setup

·      PLC Type = SLC/Micro (ENET/DH485.DF1)

·      Link Speed = 19.2K or 9600
LinkSpeed must match the baud rate of the DataHighway 485 network.

·      TimeOut (3000ms) default. This is how long the INGEAR driver will wait for a response after sending a message on the DataHighway 485 network.

·      Station ID – This is the DataHighway 485 network node number you are assigning to the 1784-PCMK card.
The Station ID must be a unique number on the DataHighway Plus network.

·      Term Name (Optional) – This is a 7 character user defined string to identify the 1784-PCMK card to other nodes on the DataHighway 485 network.

·      Click Apply

·      Click Done

 

Notes:

All other driver settings are not used for this configuration.
