Configuring driver as node on FINS network.
Your computer must appear as a node on the FINS network. By default FINS will use the last octet of your computers IP address as its FINS node ID. You can select your computer IP address and click the Configure >> button to assign your FINS node ID from the IP address.
IMPORTANT:
FINS network can only address 127 nodes (Node ID’s 0~126).
If the last octet of your IP address is greater than 126, it will not be recognized on the FINS network. In this case, there are 2 options:
1. Create a mapping table in the Omron PLC that maps your computers IP address to a valid FINS Node ID (0~126) and set the mapped FINS Node ID in the My FINS Node ID setting.
2. Change the IP address of your computer so the last octet is 126 or less.
The default UDP port for Omron Ethernet is port 9600. If the Omron Ethernet module is configured to use a different UDP port enter that value in the UDP Port setting
