Add a FINS Serial Driver

Use the FINS SERIAL driver when communicating FINS Serial to the following PLC’s.

C200, C200H, C200HE, C200H-Z, C200HG, C200HG-Z, C200HS, C200HX, C200HX-Z, C500,C1000H, CJ1G, CJ1H, CJ1M, CS1G, CS1H, CV500, CV1000, CV2000, CVM1-CPU01, CVM1-CPU11, CVM1-CPU21

Creating the Driver

Click Edit | Comm Settings… from the menu

From the Supported Drivers
- select –
FINS Serial Driver

Click Add…

Enter a Driver Name for the FINS Serial driver.

FINS_SERIAL_1
Click Ok

Enter the Comm Port settings

Select the Com Port (COM1:-COM32)

Select the Baud Rate (300-1152000)
9600 is the default for most Omron PLC’s

Select the Parity (None, Even, Odd)
Even is the default for most Omron PLC’s

Select the Data Bits (7 or 8)
7 is the default for most Omron PLC’s

Select the Stop Bits (1 or 2)
2 is the default for most Omron PLC’s

Click Ok
