What is a Driver
Use this driver when communicating to MODBUS ETHERNET Devices.
· Click Edit -> Comm Settings …
· From the Supported Drivers
- select -
Modbus Ethernet
· Click Add…
· Enter a Driver Name for the MBENET driver.

· Click Ok
· Enter the IP Address of the Modbus Device
· (Optional) Enter the IP Port number of the Modbus device. Most Modicon devices use the default IP Port of 502 (decimal). The Default Port button will restore this setting to 502.
· (Optional) Enter a Connect Timeout value (10-10000ms). This is how long the server will wait when attempting to establish, or re-establish an Ethernet connection. The default value is 50ms.
· Click OK
