USB Dongle License Key
The USB dongle
provides the utmost ease and flexibility for moving the INGEAR.NET license
across computers. The
USB dongle key is offered as an option to the current software-based license
activation for the Developer Edition only.
The USB dongle option provides the following
features and benefits

Preprogrammed with license(s)
for the INGEAR software titles you've purchased. Plug dongle into any
USB port for immediate software use. Troubleshoot/debug applications
without installing software-based license. Does not require system-level
drivers or services to be installed for operation. Single dongle can support
multiple INGEAR licenses. Licenses can be added
or upgraded via email. Backup / Restore license
on USB dongle. Retains existing software-based
activation. Supports Windows 32-bit
and 64-bit operating systems

The USB dongle adds an "either-or"
dimension your INGEAR license. The
INGEAR.NET class library will attempt to locate the USB first. If
the USB dongle is detected, the software-based activation is ignored,
regardless whether the license is Developer or Runtime. If
the USB dongle is not detected, the INGEAR.NET class library defaults
to the software-based license activation.
USB Key is not supported on Compact Framework
Edition.
