Adding a Tag

·      Select the Device or Group that you want to add tags to.

·      Click Add -> New Tag… or click the icon

·      Enter a Name for the Tag.
Examples of Tag names:
Temp Zone 1 Preset
Batch Step Sequence Number

·      (Optional) – Enter a Description of the Tag

·      Select the Register Type

·      Enter the Register Address (1-65536)

·      Select the Data Type

·      (OPTIONAL) Bit
Bits can be read from %R, %AI, %AQ registers but are limited to READ ONLY access rights

Enter Bit (1-16)
OPC Access is forced to READ ONLY

·      Select OPC Access
READ/WRITE – Client has READ/WRITE access (Default)
READ ONLY – Client has READ ONLY access
WRITE ONLY – Client has WRITE ONLY access

·      (Optional) – Scaling

·      (Optional) – Simulation signal

·      Click OK
