USB Dongle License Key

The USB dongle provides the utmost ease and flexibility for moving the INGEAR.NET license across computers.  The USB dongle key is offered as an option with the Developer Edition to the current software-based license activation.

The USB dongle option provides the following features and benefits

The USB dongle adds an "either-or" dimension your INGEAR license.  The INGEAR.NET class library will attempt to locate the USB first.  If the USB dongle is detected, the software-based activation is ignored, regardless whether the license is Developer, or Runtime.  If the USB dongle is not detected, the INGEAR.NET class library defaults to the software-based license activation.
