Configuring Server Tags

$images\img00811.gif$	Tag Name This is the OPC Item name which will be used by the OPC client software. Name must be unique Name can be up to 32 characters in length Name must not contain dots (".") periods
$images\img00812.gif$	Description (Optional) This is an optional field to enter a description for the OPC Item. Some OPC client applications have the ability to read this description.
$images\img00813.gif$	CPU Tagname (ControlLogix/CompactLogix) This is the native tag address of the data point in the controller. Also See: ControlLogix/CompactLogix Tag Addressing Memory Tags
$images\img00814.gif$	File Element (PLC/SLC/MicroLogix) This is the data table address of the data point in the controller. Also See: PLC / SLC / Micrologix Data Table Memory Tags
$images\img00815.gif$	Data Type Select the data type of the tag. Also See: Tag Data Types
$images\img00816.gif$	Array / Elements (Optional) Check this if the OPC Item is to be a VT_ARRAY data type. A VT_ARRAY is a single OPC Item that contains 2 or more data points. Some OPC client applications do not support VT_ARRAY.
