Installing 1784-PKTX without Plug N Play Driver

The INGEAR OPC Server for Allen-Bradley does not require a Windows Plug N Play driver for 1784-PKTX and 1784-PKTXD PCI network cards.

Use the following procedure to prevent Windows Hardware Wizard searching for a Plug N Play driver when the system boots:

New Hardware Wizard Step 1

Select Yes, this time only

Select Install for a list or specific location (Advanced)

Select No, do not connect to the Internet now.
