Local CPU
A Local CPU is a processor that resides in the same chassis as the Ethernet module. Enter the CPU slot of the controller in the CPU Slot/CIP Route
(CPU slot)
Remote CPU (Single Hop)
A Remote CPU Single Hop is a processor that resides in a remote chassis that is connected by a single network bridge.
When addressing a Remote CPU, you must specify a CIP Route path to the controller
1.<slot>.<channel>.<node>.1.(CPU Slot)

Remote CPU (Multi-Hop)
A Remote CPU Multi-Hop is a processor that resides in a remote chassis that is bridged by 2 or more networks.
