Server Devices represent physical PLC’s connected to the OPC Server. When a Device is created a _Attributes subgroup of System Tags is automatically created.
Device Name
Name: Name of the device as it will appear to the OPC Client
The device Name must be unique
The device Name can be up to 32 characters in length
The device Name must not contain dots ("." Periods)
Device Properties
The Device Properties assign communication and PLC characteristics to the device.
